2.Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 751 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $100

Trade Cabo’s resort strip for Baja 1000 trails, desert hills, and a white-sand beach. You’ll spend about an hour on an ATV, then ride a trained horse along the shore before tequila tasting. Guides such as Chino, Esteban, Jose, and Alberto are often requested by name.

“Overall great experience. Upon arriving it was bit chaotic. I did the ATV/ horse riding combo. Ended up on tour with the guide by ourselves and it was great. Daniel was my tour guide. Be sure to bring cash for the $25 PP park entrance fee. You'll have an option to purchase insurance ( I declined). While I know this is common with most excursions, the asking for tips and hints of amounts was a bit off putting. Despite that, the experience was great.”

“The horses and people were fine. The views of the ocean were fantastic. We an had an unfortunate situation. Dogs on the beach spooked the horses. It caused the horses to into a frenzy and a lady fell off her horse. She needed to stop the tour and be attended to. Fyi, try to get a heads up if people are on the beach or not.”

“Guide Bruno was wonderful, but the groups are not separated despite being marketed for intermediate/ advanced riders. We were able to canter a bit but large majority of the ride is walking on desert trails. Short time on beach and lots of four wheelers and dune buggies zipping around as well. Hate to say it, but definitely could have done the same thing for half the price. Also you aren’t allowed to bring anything but a go pro, so if you aren’t wanting to pay an arm and a leg for pictures, bring your gopro. Phones are not allowed”
